Forklift/Telehandler Operator

Overview

Qualco Inc. is now accepting applications/resumes for a Forklift/Telehandler Operator to work at our facility in Supply EBD, Guyana.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Must have 2 years’ experience operating a Forklift or telehandler in an outdoor or warehouse setting
• Fuel forklift, complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain records onsite; notify manager of needed repairs
• Transport inbound/outbound shipments and move product to storage locations using a forklift
• Transport goods packed on pallets or in crates to designated areas safely
• Visually inspect loads for proper safe operating conditions and ensure loads are secure at all times
• Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment, inside and out of the facility
• Attend and participate in daily safety meetings
• Must follow safety policies and procedures and participate in daily JSA’s
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Please provide reference
• Must be a Guyanese National

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work outdoors while exposed to variable temperatures for long periods of time
• Physical demands include heavy lifting (to 50 lbs.), standing for long periods of time, bending over/stooping, reaching, and maintaining good hand-eye coordination.
