Job Title:  Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Location: Youngsville, LA

Schedule: 5 & 2

 

Quality Construction & Production is accepting résumés for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work at our shop in Youngsville, LA.  This will be a full-time position with overtime possible.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Receive material from vendors
• Recording, verifying and distributing MTR’s to associated job, then to QC Department for data book recording
• Complete JSA for general forklift use as well as specific job loadouts
• Review JSA’s with crew each day prior to performing work
• Coordinate transportation for delivery and oversee loadout of finished products
• Inventory and record stock material stored in yard
• Stage and tag material per job and MTR list
• Deliver material to appropriate shops per the job scope
• Perform safety check on forklift and other equipment
• Maintain job files per Operations policy
• Direct vendor deliveries to appropriate departments

 

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year experience with Shipping and Receiving or Warehouse environment required
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office is a plus
• Knowledge of raw material used in metal fabrication is a plus
