Job Title: Rope Access Technician, IRATA

Location: Offshore, Gulf of Mexico

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support Operations by working with engineers for various offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico
• Address technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities in the field.
• Inspect, maintain, and properly care for all rope access equipment, reporting any damaged or unserviceable equipment
• Maintain climbing logbook per IRATA guidelines.
• Prepare Reports and precisely document data in a timely fashion.

Perform various duties while on ropes such as:

• Inspect NACE coatings and report findings to customer representative.
• Inspection, removal, and reinstallation of various types of pipe insulation.
• Perform nondestructive examinations at various facilities under the direction of a Team Leader or independently.
• Complete Mechanical or electrical tasks to safely remove or install equipment or devices.

    Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years Rope Access field experience with IRATA certification
• Experience in a Supervisory role is a plus
• Current IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (or be willing to convert from SPRAT)
• Strong work ethic and exceptional safety and quality awareness
