Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review client specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, attend pre-bid meetings, along with reading through bid packages and summarizing requirements
  • Coordinate the construction estimating effort and maintain a standard estimating process
  • Effectively communicate with internal customers, vendors, and clients throughout the estimating process
  • Perform material and labor takeoffs based on project specifications and design documents
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications quickly and accurately
  • Analyze projects for value engineering options while considering specific job conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed
  • Request material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers
  • Assists project team in resolution of estimating issues involving cost, schedule, and changes on projects
  • Enhance historical cost databases with the implementation, collection and publishing of project metrics
  • Prepare and issue RFQs along with a method of measurement to subcontractors and send to procurement department to ensure that quotations are received in a timely manner and at a quality and detail level
  • Prepare presentation / summary of cost calculation results and submit to management for approval
  • Compile all information from bids and quotes into an estimate template.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of E&I Estimating experience is required
  • Must have experience with Estimating Projects for Offshore in the oil and gas industry
  • Prior experience in sales, project management, and purchasing is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills along with MS Office suite, including PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage internal meetings with other departments.

  • Monitor and make adjustments to Pumps and Amine levels as needed
  • Take samples of the natural gas stream to check CO2 levels and make adjustments based on each reading
  • Assist in repairing pumps, valves, and other equipment on location
  • Change out filters and other consumables when required
  • Communicate daily status to customer representatives
  • Promote good housekeeping methods and keep work locations clean

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably as an Operator or Pumper
