Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support Operations by working with engineers for various offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico
  • Address technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities in the field.

  • Maintain climbing logbook per IRATA guidelines.
  • Prepare Reports and precisely document data in a timely fashion.

Perform various duties while on ropes such as:

  • Inspect NACE coatings and report findings to customer representative.
  • Inspection, removal, and reinstallation of various types of pipe insulation.
  • Perform nondestructive examinations at various facilities under the direction of a Team Leader or independently.
  • Complete Mechanical or electrical tasks to safely remove or install equipment or devices.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Rope Access field experience with IRATA certification
  • Experience in a Supervisory role is a plus
  • Current IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (or be willing to convert from SPRAT)
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional safety and quality awareness

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of splicing experience in telecommunications or utility industry preferred.
  • 2+ years in cable construction and/or engineering experience with a thorough understanding of a HFC architectures.

Job Title:  Offshore Welder

Location: Gulf of Mexico

Schedule: Various Rotations

Quality Construction and Production needs your Offshore Welding experience to help complete our construction projects safely and on time.  If you’re a Structural or Pipe Welder with Offshore experience and are looking for a great opportunity to make a change for the better, then please send us your Résumé, or come by and apply in person.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Fabricate and repair Equipment or Piping by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
  • Clean and prepares surfaces to be welded, set up, assemble, and tack weld parts together
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to desired size and shape
  • Complete JSA’s and Hot Work permits for cutting and welding as needed
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Operate equipment safely and use safe work habits
  • Able to read technical plans, blueprints, drawings, ISO’s and models.
  • Work with Fitters, Scaffold Builders, and Riggers, giving them assistance as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience Welding Offshore in the Oil and Gas industry required.
