Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists offshore operations by maintaining and repairing all Instrumentation and Electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair 12v to 48v DC systems
- Test Safety devices regularly and calibrate sensors as needed.
- Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain various systems such as ESD, VFD, PLC and others
- Calibrate end devices such as pressure transducers, speed controllers, RTU’s, loop controllers and valve positioners.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC or HMI electrical panels is a plus
- Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and/or installing low voltage (12-480 VAC) systems (generators, panels, breakers, transformers, and motor starters), when needed
- Read technical documentation including Piping & Instrument Diagrams, loop drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Offshore I&E Technician required
- Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA (NEC), API, and UL508A
