E&I Technician II
This position is: Full Time
Salary: DOE
Position Location: Various Locations
Under the direction of the Senior Electrical Technician and with safety, efficiency and customer service a priority, the Electrical Technician II provides technical support for electrical systems.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ year’s industry experience
  • Working knowledge of HSE practices common to the industry and the company
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis 
  • Fair electrical troubleshooting skills and techniques
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
  • As per ZTI training and competence policies

Job Specifics
  • Prepare HSE documentation (work permits, JSAs, stop program, etc.…) as required
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, symbols and systems
  • Mount motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications
  • Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems
  • Perform wiring modifications and repairs
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits
  • Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of VFD medium, low voltage drives and reduced voltage starters
  • Assist with the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair emergency shut-down systems
  • Investigate and repair electrical system problems using a variety of electrical equipment, metering and testing devices, machines and tools
  • Install, terminate and band cables in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper tools and techniques are followed
  • Provide daily status updates to Senior Electrical Technician
  • Participate in the development of newly appointed team members
